We greatly enjoyed our comfortable rooms, plus the staff was pleasant. On-site restaurant La Gardesana was a bonus, had dinner there
We had poor breakfast.
Ok hotel, close to the lake. Nice swimmingpool. Good breakfast.
The hotel is clean and the rooms to a good standard. We were on the first floor at the front and had a very large balcony with table and chairs and sun loungers - ideal to relax late afternoon/ evening. Well worth asking for if you can. The pool area and gardens are very good. It is close to a main road but we were not disturbed by any traffic noise. There are a good choice of restaurants close by and an excellent gelateria that is always packed out with locals!!!
The hotel is a long walk from the centre of the town about 25 mins but it is a pleasant walk along the lakefront. Don't think you can just pop in to the centre for a meal or a drink but there are plenty of places very close to the hotel. Also you would pay a lot more in the centre. The orange juice at breakfast came out of a machine and was very poor! That said we would certainly stay there again and we would recommend it and good value.
It's comfy, clean and neat. Very good value for money.
The best was getting hot vegetable soup when arriving at 9 pm after a long journey - though the hotel restaurant was already closed. The room was cosy, very clean and rather big, the breakfasts and restaurant service were excellent, the most of personell very helpful and friendly and english-speaking. And it was very pleasant that you could always get a timetable for any of the extraurban buses when planning to go somewhere.
The reception desk is not working from 10 pm to 7 am. Actually there is somebody like gatekeeper who may help, but the "system" is off, so you cannot pay or use the internet for on-line check-in. And on the morning when I was leaving, the receptionist was 10 minutes late and came only at 7:10. It was not critical for me, but rather unpleasant - as I was already hurrying to the bus. So if somebody is going to leave earlier than 7 am, just be aware that you have to pay the day before! Another thing I didn't like was music which I heard at nights from one of the neighboring hotels - though it was classic or "music of eighties", not very boring and usually stopped at about 10 or 11 pm.
Rather old, but OK for the price.
Breakfasts were very good
Beds were dreadful. We had a double room but found two very old single beds pushed together with a large gap down the. Entrepreneur, very uncomfortable indeed. Room decor was very tired and in need of refurbishment.
Hotel staff was very friendly, all speak english. The hotel was nice , the room was comfortable and clean.Breakfast was excellent.
Evening in the hotel was a little noise, but this depends on the guests themeselves.
Free parking and breakfast was ok.
3-star?? No way. Rooms were very basic, aging in need of renovation. Was pretty disappointing.
It was very clean
Tinned fruit and concentate for breakfast. The staff had no personalilty except for one waitress who shouted at us for sitting at the wrong table, thus humiliating us in front of all the other guests.
